Slotland Player Heading for Tropics with her $207K Treasure Island Jackpot

November 20, 2014 (Press Release) -- A Slotland (http://www.slotland.eu) player has hit a near record-breaking progressive jackpot. Carol S. won $207,008 playing the one-of-a-kind casino’s Treasure Island slot game.  Her win is the biggest this year and one of the largest payouts ever on the frequently-hit site-wide jackpot.
The winner says she’s going to find her own Treasure Island -- she’ll use some of her winnings for a trip to the Florida Keys and Hawaii this winter.

“We had a couple of big wins over the summer – one of them really big,” said Slotland manager Michael Hilary.  “We were kind of hoping we’d have a big jackpot winner during our 16th birthday celebrations last month. But great for Carol that it kept building for a couple more weeks!”

Slotland’s jackpot is regularly hit several times a year, lately averaging $135,000 to $180,000, making this one of the largest wins in awhile. It’s just shy of the $207,241 Henry W. won playing Treasure Box in November 2011. The record is still held by Sinclair U., an American dad who won $266,800 playing the nostalgic fair-themed Carnival.

Treasure Island is one of Slotland’s newest real money online slots and this is the first time the site-wide jackpot has been won playing the pirate-themed game. When three scatter symbols appear, its Treasure Hunt Bonus Round begins. Players are shown a treasure map and must first decide where to anchor their ship before exploring the Island in search of treasures to exchange with natives. Like all of Slotland’s games, it plays great on all mobile devices.

Carol told a Slotland customer service rep that although she’s tried the new Treasure Island a few times, she actually plays more traditional slots like Double Luck and Fruit Mania more often.

This is a massive win, so Carol can enjoy her tropical holiday and also pay off some bills. She said she’s wanted to upgrade her kitchen appliances and figures this is the time to do that as well.

“I want to make a charitable donation too,” she said. “It’s just so hard to decide which one. I’m super excited to have won and still can't really believe it.”
