Slotland’s 11th Birthday Celebration is coming soon!

Do you remember being 10 years old and your 11th birthday was just around the corner? If you do, you remember how exciting it was to have made it through a decade with plenty more coming. Well, Slotland is just about to turn 11, and everyone at Slotland is just as excited as a 10 year old and we can hardly wait to celebrate! We envision lots of prizes and fun, and like any thrilled ten year old, our wish was to make this birthday last as long as possible. And are we lucky! We will be celebrating Slotland’s 11th birthday for an entire week, starting on October 1 and ending on October 7!

The best thing about our birthday celebration is that there are lots of great gifts, but they are for YOU, our loyal, partying players! Check out the gifts waiting for you:

First off, don’t be a party pooper! Even if you are not ready to make a deposit, be sure to log into your Slotland account sometime during our birthday week (October 1 through October 7); you may find a nice something in your account. We all love secrets and surprises, so for now, that is all the information you are going to get!

And if a special something magically appearing in your account is just not enough to make it a real party for you, check out this cool bonus: for every deposit made during our birthday week (October 1 through October 7), you get an automatic and immediate 11% bonus added to your account!

Want more? How about this... at the end of our birthday week (October 1 through October 7); we will perform a random drawing and issue the following prizes:

111 players will win $11; 11 players will win $111; and one very lucky player will be selected to win $1,111! Every deposit you make during our birthday week (October 1 through October 7) earns you one ticket for this exciting drawing. And remember that you also will get an awesome 11% bonus on any deposit made!

We want this party to be big and awesome, so be sure to invite all of your friends as well. If they are not already Slotland players, this is their lucky chance to sign up, because during our birthday week (October 1 through October 7), any new Slotland player will receive a free and automatic $10 just for signing up! Of course, once they have signed up and joined the party, any additional deposits made during our birthday week (October 1 through October 7) will earn 11% bonuses.

This is going to be a great birthday bash, so don’t miss it! Before we close, we would like to take a quick walk down memory lane and reflect on the life of Slotland:

It all started back in 1998, when Slotland opened its doors with our first (and still popular!) slot machine, Golden 8. Later in the same year, Silver Kiss was added as the second game at Slotland. In 1999, we saw the additions of Heavy Metal, Jacks or Better, Magic and Wild Heart. Since these modest beginnings, we have grown to a total 15 unique and exciting games for our players, as well as converting 6 of our most popular games over to the mobile platform. And as if that were not enough for a mere ten year old, last year brought a new little sister to the Slotland family: Win A Day Casino! And this new kid on the block is growing fast, with 8 games already on board and paying out winnings to our satisfied players. Unlike most toddlers, Win A Day Casino is actually fun to play with and can be quite rewarding!

We at Slotland are grateful for our wonderful and loyal players. Our philosophy has always been to make winning fun and exciting, and it has paid off by allowing us to grow and continue to offer more thrilling ways for you to win. Maybe your next win will be the jackpot; remember, it is SOMEONE’S turn next. Why not make that someone you?

Slotland Tips and Guidelines on How to Play Online Casinos

Online casinos, also known as virtual casinos or internet casinos are online versions of traditional casinos. Online casinos enable gamblers to play and wager on casino games using the Internet. Online casinos offer the same games as the traditional casino such as slots, roulette, poker and craps. Online casino has become popular in just a short period of time, as they provide an opportunity to play from the comfort of one’s home, and they also provide the excitement of a traditional casino with several new and innovative games.

How to select online casino

There are many online casino sites, but most of them are not trustworthy and have the reputation to cheat the players who sign up. Here are some guidelines that will help one choose a reputable online casino

Important thing to review is the general information on the site before registering to play. The general information should includes details about deposits, bonuses, which covers the bonus offers that are available, and the company’s newsletters that includes information on promotions and offers.

Recognition from reputed sites that provide reviews of online casinos and games.

Another benchmark of a reputable casino is the online 24/7 customer care. Support team should be available for help 24 hours a day if a player faces any issues while playing. These kinds of sites provide quick replies to your queries and should solve your problems immediately. The online casino should offer two options to contact their customer support service center, by phone or email. So do not hesitate to contact them.

A way to recognize a good brand is the age of the domain. The longer they have been online, the more trustworthy they are.

The points mentioned above are not a comprehensive checklist, but some of the important things to keep in mind while choosing a right online casino.

Once you join an online casino, make sure that you read all the communications that you receive from the site. Some of the reputed sites will send updates on competitions and new promotions. They also announce special “winners” and new games in their newsletters as well. So always sign up to receive the site’s newsletter for latest information and details.

New Reel Riot Slot Machine Has Features for Both Novice and Experienced Players

The games designers at Slotland.com have outdone themselves once again with the launch of their latest creation, the Reel Riot. It’s a single payline slot machine that Slotland has revved up to the max by including a “Double Wild” bonus symbol and by making it possible to hold any reel for the next spin.

The leopard-print console and retro graphics give this new game a kind of Old Vegas feel. New slots players will find it easy to learn its basic features. More experienced players that like to use some strategy to increase their odds will enjoy the Hold feature.

The Double Wild symbol doubles the pay out on any winning combination. Three Double Wild symbols in any position and on any of the three lines (not just the payline) earns a Bonus Round where winnings can sky rocket with a series of multipliers.

Although this is a single pay line slot machine, players will find themselves keeping an eye on the other two lines as well, since they can earn a bonus round by catching three Double Wild symbols in any position. The Hold feature can be used to hold a reel for winning combinations on the payline and to hold Double Wild symbols in any of the three lines.

“We have some multi-payline games for players that like to raise the stakes by playing several lines at once,” said Tuma. “But we’ve found that players also really like single payline games, especially if they’ve got some opportunities for strategy built into them.”

Slotland Jackpot Loosens Up, Produces Second Winner in a Month

$80,369 won playing Slotris within weeks of $169,923 win on Megaspin!

Less than a month after their last big progressive jackpot winner, the Slotland jackpot has already been hit again. A player known as MARMOTLUV won $80,369 playing one of Slotland’s newer online slot machines, the Slotris.

“I used to love playing Tetris as a kid so I’ve enjoyed playing Slotris ever since it was added to Slotland,” said the excited winner. “I’ve won lots of smaller amounts over the years I’ve been playing at Slotland, but I never dreamed I’d actually win such a huge jackpot! The money is already in my bank account – but not for long!”

For years the Slotland jackpot was famous for being hit every six weeks or so, usually for between $100 and $150K. This isn’t the first time that the wins have happened more frequently than that though. Last fall there were three six-figure jackpots in a row so this latest win could be the part of a continuing loose jackpot trend.

Of course there’s no predicting when a jackpot will be won. Every time a player places a bet that qualifies for the progressive jackpot (a max bet is required in most games) part of their wager goes to the progressive jackpot pool. That pool keeps growing until someone hits the jackpot.

Since all 16 games at Slotland contribute to the same jackpot pool, it can grow very quickly. After a young couple won a $169,923 jackpot playing the new Megaspin!game in July, the jackpot was reset to $50,000 and quickly rose to the $80K prize just won.

Slotris, a Tetris-like online slot machine that launched last year, is two games in one, both inspired by the popular game of falling-blocks considered by some to be the best video game ever. The wheels on the Slotrisonline slot machine spin the familiar multi-coloured cubes and the same squares fall into place on the grid of the adjacent bonus game puzzle - just like the video game that has mesmerized millions for decades.

There are two ways to win Slotris. There’s a traditional three-wheel single payline slot line with spinning symbols – coloured blocks rather than cherries. When three matching symbols line up, the player wins. But the coloured boxes don’t just spin on the slot machine wheels. Afterward, the same symbols fall into place in the grid beside the slot machine. Players can win this bonus game by guiding the blocks into place. Every solid-colour line multiplies the player’s bet and ten lines wins the jackpot.

Slotland.com currently features thirteen unique slot machines and three video poker games. Four of the most popular online slot machines and two video poker games are also available on mobile phones and PDAs. All of Slotland’s games give players the option of placing a maximum bet for a chance at the progressive jackpot.

In August Slotland will introduce another new slot machine. The “Reel Riot” is a single payline slot machine with a “Double Wild” bonus symbol and a special “hold” feature that strategic slots players will love.

The jackpot at Slotland is currently over $64,000. Meanwhile at Slotland’s 3D casino, WinADay.com, the jackpot is over $130,000 and many players believe it is overdue for a win.
